The social sciences propose interculturality—mutual enhancement among cultures—as a vision to confront the exclusivism associated with ethnocentrism, globalization, and post-colonialism. Missiology offers the idea of “prophetic dialogue” as the theological framework and foundation for interculturality as a vision of mission and ministry. Both visions require a conversion— a “second conversion”—on individual, communal, cultural, and ecclesial levels.
