Position description:  
 

Teach undergraduate courses in composition, developmental writing, creative writing, and literature.
The initial contract is for three years beginning in August 2019 and is renewable thereafter (non-tenure track).

 

 

Qualifications:  
 

The successful applicant will possess a completed Ph.D. in Composition, Creative Writing, Literature, Comparative Literature or closely related fields. Applicants must provide evidence of effective teaching, commitment to professional development and scholarship, ability to work collaboratively with faculty and administration, and experience in an intercultural classroom environment with multilingual writers and international students. Other responsibilities include committee service, outcomes assessment, placement test evaluation, student advisement, and curriculum development for writing or literature courses appropriate for intercultural studies majors.
