The classes you take, the credits you earn and the diploma you receive at Divine Word College mean something

Divine Word College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).  Founded in 1895, HLC is an independent corporation and one of six regional institutional accreditors, which accredit degree-granting post-secondary institutions of higher learning in the 19 states of the North Central region.

HLC regularly reviews the academic programs and overall operation of Divine Word College before continuing its accreditation. This critical recognition means that credits earned at DWC are in most cases transferable, credits earned at other accredited institutions generally transfer to DWC and the degrees the college awards meet national academic standards.
