Father John, originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, professed vows as a Divine Word Missionary in 1990 and was ordained a Priest in 1997. He has served as a missionary in urban Mexico City, rural Paraguay, and in various Hispanic and Vietnamese parishes/ministries across the United States. Father John was appointed Secretary for the last four General Chapters of the Society of the Divine Word in Rome (2000, 2006, 2012, 2018).
