Divine Word College will host the first public discussion for the 2026 Dubuque County Reads book The Seed Keeper on Thursday, March 5 at 1 pm. The event is free and open to the public. 

In its fourth year, Dubuque County Reads promotes literacy, fosters civic engagement, and encourages respectful dialogue through book discussions, storytimes, and special events. The 2026 theme explores ecological sustainability, Indigenous identity, food systems, and cultural heritage.
